Ayesha Hassan, JD

Ayesha Hassan is a strategic advisor specializing in stakeholder engagement & partnerships, governance, and policy advocacy approaches for companies, industry bodies, and multinational organizations. She serves as Executive Relations Officer for the Marconi Society and led the establishment of the Internet Resilience Institute. She leads the European Summer School on Internet Governance (EuroSSIG) alumni network, and is a former Senior Fellow at the People Centered Internet. A former executive at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Internet Society (ISOC), Ayesha has extensive experience advising on digital economy policy, international multistakeholder processes, and global governance. She is a former litigator and spearheaded online dispute resolution (ODR) as SquareTrade’s head of ODR. She is a former Advisory Board member for Markup LLC, and serves on the board of the World Computer Exchange (WCE). Ayesha holds degrees from the University of Chicago, the University of San Diego School of Law, and Stanford University, and is fluent in English and French.
