Rebecca Y. Gonzales is a results-driven leader who has a deep expertise in translating technology into business value and social impact. She joins The Cantellus Group from Amazon Web Services where she was the Global Head of Enablement at the Generative AI Innovation Center. There she led initiatives that harnessed the power of artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies to create new possibilities and solutions for customers worldwide. She has devoted five years to responsible technology advising enterprise customers on how to enable advanced technologies respecting human rights and dignity while mitigating bias and reducing harm. Her passion is empowering and enabling others to leverage AI for positive change.

Prior to Amazon, Rebecca spent more than 20 years in technology with roles at tech companies such as Dell Technologies and Advanced Micro Devices with roles in business development, alliances and partner development, and various consulting management roles. Rebecca is a frequent speaker on topics such as responsible AI and the impact of technology on marginalized communities. Rebecca has her bachelor’s in journalism from SMU, a Managerial Certificate from McCombs Business School at UT Austin and Certificates in Responsible AI from MIT and Harvard. She and her husband split their time between Austin, TX and Lisbon, Portugal.
