Digital Policy and XR

Kristina Podnar, MBA

Kristina is a governance and digital policy specialist who helps large, complex organizations make data and AI governable in practice. After the AI or digital strategy is set, she designs the policies, standards, guardrails, and operating models that make it executable and defensible—things like AI use-case intake and risk triage, model and sign-off workflows, incident and rollback playbooks, and concrete guidance on configuring tools (access controls, guardrails and prompt templates, logging and monitoring). She also sets up clear accountability structures across Legal, Risk, IT, and the business so everyone knows who owns what when a system is designed, deployed, or goes wrong.

She is a recognized expert in data provenance standards, having led the development of the Data & Trusted AI Alliance (D&TA) Data Provenance Standards and their transition into the OASIS standards body. She is especially valuable to Global 2000, highly regulated, or brand-sensitive organizations, including pharma, healthcare, financial services, and large consumer brands, that need to trace where data comes from, how it moves, and how it feeds AI in ways that will stand up to regulators, auditors, and the court of public opinion.
