Simon is the Chief Strategist, Privacy & AI at ZoomInfo, a Senior Adviser to Bristows LLP, and an Industry Fellow at Yale University’s Digital Ethics Center. He was previously Deputy Commissioner for the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s independent authority for upholding information rights.

Simon also built privacy consulting practices at Promontory, an IBM company, and Deloitte, working with clients in Europe, the U.S., and Asia, and serves on the Board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He holds a B.A. with honours in English Literature from Somerville College at the University of Oxford, and is a Chartered Accountant.
